Fleetwood Enterprises Inc.’s Longview, Tex., towable RV assembly plant recently completed its 100,000th travel trailer, the Riverside, Calif.-based company announced.
The 700-employee plant, which opened in 1971, produces around 5,300 travel trailers and fifth-wheels per year, or from 16 to 25 units each workday.
The Longview factory builds Fleetwood’s Prowler, Terry, Wilderness, Mallard, Pride and Triumph brands.
The 100,000th trailer built by the Longview plant was bought by Marshall’s RV Centers Inc. of Canton and Kemp, Tex., a dealership that is owned by brothers Terry and Bobby Marshall.
