RV manufacturers, dealers and aftermarket accessories suppliers will have a major RV owners’ rally during mid-summer of 2002 where they can market their products.

The third annual Great North America RV Rally is scheduled for June 28-July 1, 2002, at the 487-acre Fairplex in Pomona Calif., a suburb east of Los Angeles.

The most recent Great North American RV Rally in Perry, Ga., last March drew and estimated 11,500 RV enthusiasts in almost 6,000 RV units.

The first Great North American RV Rally during the summer of 2000 drew around 10,000 people in a little more than 5,400 RVs to Gillette, Wyo.

Several business units of Affinity Group Inc. (AGI), Ventura, Calif., will sponsor the gathering including the Good Sam Club, Coast to Coast Resorts, Camping World’s Presidents Club and AGI magazines Trailer Life, MotorHome, Highways, the Trailer Life Directory and regional publications and directories produced by AGI subsidiary Woodall Publications Corp.

AGI’s new Motorhome America Club also is a sponsor.

RVBUSINESS.COM and RV Business magazine also are units of AGI.

Attractions to next year’s Great North American RV Rally will include entertainer Tony Orlando, an optional golf tournament and tours to Los Angeles and Palms Springs, Calif.-area attractions.

There also will be more than 100 seminars on RV systems, chassis maintenance, travel hobbies, accessories and RV lifestyle gear.
