Big news for fans of lightweight camping: Aliner is reviving its ultra-light Alite trailer for 2027, bringing back a minimalist favorite with a price and towability designed to appeal to a wide range of outdoor enthusiasts.
Last produced in 2012, the A-frame Alite weighs less than 700 pounds, making it towable by nearly any car or truck—and potentially some motorcycles, according to Allan Reeping, Aliner director of sales. The spartan, compact, 6.5’-box trailer includes a bed, roof vent, spare tire and wheel mount. The expected MSRP is between $10,000 and $12,000.
Aliner also will debut the new Scout 15 – its largest model yet (see below).
Aliner plans to exhibit during regular business hours Monday through Wednesday along Executive Parkway leading to the RV/MH Hall of Fame (exact location pending), serving brunch daily from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., plus a Bloody Mary bar on Monday and Tuesday.

Aliner is also commemorating America’s upcoming 250th anniversary with the production of just three exclusive 250th American Anniversary Edition camper. These limited-edition models celebrate the spirit of adventure, freedom, and craftsmanship that have been part of the Aliner story for more than four decades. Models produced will be a Scout 15, a Ranger 12, and a Classic.
