Gulf Stream Coach is bringing several new floorplans to this year’s Elkhart RV Open House, and the lineup leans hard into a theme that’s been building across the industry for a couple of years now: smaller, lighter and easier to tow — without giving up the comforts people actually want.
For Open House, the Nappanee, Ind.-based manufacturer again will be displaying on the south side of Executive Parkway leading into the RV/MH Hall of Fame.
At 20’ long and a dry weight of 2,780 pounds, Gulf Stream Coach officials said the Vintage Cruiser 17SCD is one of the smallest and lightest travel trailers on the market. It will feature 7-foot ceilings, a full dry bath and a fixed bed and dinette that will not need to be folded up or broken down to use. The unit is SUV-towable, sleeps three, and carries a three-year structural warranty.

New standard equipment includes a 12-volt, 8-cubic-foot refrigerator, 200-watt solar panel, 15,000-BTU air conditioner, a porcelain toilet, tankless water heater and pass-through storage with motion-controlled lighting. Construction uses Azdel composite sidewalls and the company’s one-piece fiberglass roof.
The Vista Cruiser 19TSQ follows a similar design philosophy, but is 19’ long and features a dry weight of 3,250 pounds. This floorplan features rear theater seating, along with a convertible bathroom door that opens up the bedroom and bathroom into a larger suite. It sleeps two around a walk-around queen bed, with a full dry bath and full kitchen, and carries the same new-for-this-year equipment list as the 17SCD. MSRP for both floorplans were still being determined.

Company leaders call the Envision 290RL “the ultimate luxury travel trailer.” At 34’ 4”, and 7,117 pounds dry, the camper boasts oversized windows at the rear wall, and a fully-wrapped Astrofoil insulation package to improve comfort. Standard features include a ducted 15,000-BTU air conditioner, aluminum wheels, tankless water heater, 8-cubic-foot 12-volt refrigerator, solid-surface countertops and slam-latch cargo doors. Like the rest of the lineup, it adds the new pass-through storage with motion-controlled lighting and uses Azdel composite sidewalls with a one-piece fiberglass roof. It sleeps four and carries a three-year structural warranty. MSRP also was to be determined.
For the motorized segment, the BT Cruiser 5210 Class C motorhome continues the line’s focus on maneuverability and comfort. At 22’6”, the camper is partly designed to appeal to would-be RVers who might be intimidated by a larger motorized unit. Leaders of Gulf Stream Coach’s motorized division are especially proud to highlight the redesigned sleeping arrangement, which now features two sofas that function independently as twin beds, or can be combined into an oversized king. Designers have also added a larger exterior storage compartment, a new interior package and 6 additional inches of overhead space in the cab area, making it easier to move between the cab and the rest of the coach. MSRP was TBD.
