Jayco officials said model year 2027 will feature many updates across both the towable and motorized divisions. What follows is one new floorplan from most of the company’s major lines. MSRPs were still being determined.
The Middlebury, Ind.-based manufacturer will again display a selection of its new model year lineup as part of the THOR Industries display on the east side of the RV/MH Hall of Fame.
Motorized
The Class B Comet’s new floorplan is the 18L, built around a redesigned sofa/bed system. The 18L includes a 48”x73” pull-out bed in the rear, two 24”x48” bench-seat sleeper sofas, a 28”x64” bench-seat sleeper sofa up front and an all-in-one closet and wet bath. Jayco is also adding a new “Acadia” interior package across the Comet line and moving to a Truma Combi G system.
The Class C Redhawk’s new floorplan is the 22TF 4×4. Built on a 4×4 chassis, the unit has two 38”x75” twin rear beds which can be combined into a king. There is also cab-over bunk up front, a 24”x36” shower separate from the toilet and medicine cabinet and a 10-cubic-foot fridge in the kitchen. The dinette features a 48” bench sofa with a removable table.
The Redhawk SE 20SF floorplan has a similar layout, with twin beds that convert to a king, a shower and toilet in separate compartments, and two fridges: a 3.1-cubic-foot 12-volt unit is in the kitchen, while a 31-liter 12-volt fridge drawer is built into the exterior beneath a 13’ awning. The Class C’s new floorplan also adds new graphics and a 42,000-BTU Suburban on-demand water heater across the line this year.
The heavy-duty Super C Seneca is debuting the 33J floorplan. Among the model’s features are a rear-bedroom layout with a 72”x80” power head-lift king bed, wardrobes on both sides and a stackable washer and dryer. The bathroom has a 30”x36” shower separated from the toilet. The kitchen has a 15-cubic-foot residential and adjacent pantry. The living room has a 72” power theater seating section, along with a 72” hide-a-bed sofa by the dinette booth. Seneca is also getting a refresh with new interior décor packages and paint schemes.
Seneca Prestige shares the same 33J floorplan as the base Seneca. Prestige-specific changes include a new slide mechanism, flush tile floors in place of carpeted slides, a solid PTL entry door, dovetail drawer construction with soft-close hardware, leather furniture, a recessed cooktop and full-wall square windows also used on Entegra’s diesel lineup.
The Class B Swift 20 L includes a rear bench seat that converts to a 59”x73” bed over in-floor storage with a lift-up panel. The camper features a wet bath, a kitchenette and an optional 51”x80” pop-top bed over the cab. The “Acadia” new interior is also available.
Towables
One of the highlights for the 2027 model year is the 25th anniversary edition of the venerable Jay Flight line. With nearly 400,000 units produced, the Jay Flight is one of, if not, the top selling brands in RV history. This includes 15 consecutive years of being the No. 1-selling trailer in the world.
To commemorate the 25th anniversary for the 2027 model year, the Jay Flight features all-new exteriors and all-new interiors including a Desert Sand color scheme with Dune Gray cabinetry to create a bright and open interior space. Among other things, the main Jay Flight series offers a larger 11-cubic-foot refrigerator, new flooring, new wallboard and more windows.
The Jayco Eagle fifth-wheel line highlighted the 27MLTS new floorplan. It features a triple-slide layout with an L-shaped sofa and rear kitchen. While it was still in the prototype stage, officials said a production model is expected in November. The rest of the Eagle FW lineup adds 100% residential PEX and flex-hose plumbing, dovetail drawers throughout, soft-close cabinet doors and InVision appliances.
Jay Feather Air’s new floorplan is the 17FK, which adds a front window. It will also feature updated graphics, an outside TV backer and prep sticker and a larger kitchen sink. The interior also gets a refresh, with new flooring, new dinette fabric and new bunk mats. The 18MBH and 16FBS floorplans are being discontinued.
North Point is adding seven new floorplans for 2027. Among them is the 361RLBH, a rear-living layout with a hidden pantry behind the entertainment center, theater seating with a roll-top dinette, and a mid-den with a computer desk and a trifold sofa with a bunk above; the layout omits a loft to increase ceiling height.
Pinnacle’s new fifth-wheel floorplan is the 39DSDB, which pairs two full bedrooms with two full bathrooms and a loft, along with a radius sofa and U-shaped kitchen. MSRP were not yet available.
