Keystone Doubles Down on Product Innovation Ahead of September Open House

Keystone RV Company is heading into September Open House with one of its most aggressive product rollouts in years, unveiling new floorplans, structural innovations and brand realignments across its fifth-wheel and travel trailer lineups — while also restructuring its product development leadership to “supercharge” innovation and deliver unmatched value to its customers.
Leadership Realignment to Sharpen Brand Focus
Keystone has restructured its product management team to pair its top-performing leaders with complementary brands rather than isolating them within a single nameplate. The strategy is intentionally not aimed at homogenizing sister brands — quite the opposite, according to Keystone leadership, who say the goal is to let each manager apply proven instincts while deliberately differentiating design direction brand to brand.
Sprinter Marks 30 Years with Segment Expansion
Sprinter, Keystone’s original brand, is celebrating its 30th anniversary with market share up 20% year-to-date in fifth-wheels — one of the fastest growth rates among established brands, according to Keystone leadership. Building on its “most fifth-wheel for the money” positioning, Sprinter will debut two new product lines at Open House: a 100”-wide destination trailer and a wide-body travel trailer, both designed to extend Sprinter’s value proposition into new towable segments. The travel trailer marks Sprinter’s return to that category after roughly seven or eight years away.
Montana Momentum Continues with New 3500RD
Following last year’s ground-up redesign — a shift to a 100”-wide body, new cap and decking, expanded pass-through storage, and an industry-first five-year frame and full structural warranty — Montana continues to post double-digit market share gains. New for this year is the Montana 3500RD, which takes advantage of the platform’s reinforced frame to deliver an extended upper deck with a larger bath, added wardrobe storage, and a window positioned above an east-west bed configuration. The brand continues to build out its floorplan lineup on the new platform, incorporating features like a “coffee bar” beverage center that’s proven popular enough to roll into additional floorplans.

Bullet, Walkabout and Reign Target Niche, High-Margin Buyers
Bullet has been redesigned inside and out, highlighted by the BL331WFA, a floorplan built around a rear mini-garage configured specifically for hauling kayaks, canoes, paddleboards and bicycles. The Walkabout, launched last year in partnership with conservationist, author and outdoor-lifestyle personality Steven Rinella, has proven to be a strong margin and traffic driver for dealers.

Expanding on this interest, Keystone is introducing a lower-priced Walkabout — the 221FROST — that retains the proven structure, towability and durability while simplifying select camping amenities to deliver greater value. Reign, a premium travel trailer with an automotive-finished aluminum exterior, composite floor and composite exterior shell, will introduce its first tandem-axle model, the 22FK, featuring a front kitchen.
Springdale, Hideout Returning to Semi-Destination Segment
Responding to dealer demand, Keystone is developing new 38’-style floorplans for Springdale and Hideout aimed at the semi-permanent, destination-trailer segment — a category the company stepped back from during COVID-era production constraints.

Raptor Riding 55% Market Share Surge
Raptor remains one of Keystone’s standout performers in the toy hauler segment, posting a 55% increase in year-to-date market share. The brand’s redesign now anchors a growing custom paint program featuring matte finishes, a wake-surf-inspired look that draws on the outdoor lifestyle, and a bold red/black “intimidator” scheme.
Arcadia, Alpine/Avalanche Build on Fresh Platforms
Arcadia, which received a new front cap and exterior at the last Open House, is now focused on interior refinement and floorplan expansion for that platform. Alpine and Avalanche underwent a comprehensive model-year changeover effective June 1, adopting a new cap with lighted trapezoid accents and Montana’s reinforced wide-body frame and five-year structural warranty — while distinguishing themselves with a lighter interior palette and waterfall countertops. The brands are price-positioned significantly below comparably equipped Montana units and target a similar high-end buyer.
Cougar Extends Category Lead
Cougar continues to widen its lead as a top-selling brand, with incremental floorplan additions and aesthetic refinements building on interior updates introduced at last year’s Open House.
Overall, Keystone’s message to dealers is one of continuity and reinvention — reinforcing category leaders such as Cougar and Montana while introducing newer entries, including full-paint Raptor, Sprinter destination trailers, outdoor-focused models like Walkabout and Reign.
