Forest Lake, Minnesota-based specialty vehicle conversion company Waldoch will make its Elkhart RV Open House Week debut this year, where it will showcase its new Starlux Class B van as well as its Coya and MOTO camper vans.
The Starlux is built on a Ford Transit 350HD high-roof platform that marks the company’s entry into the premium van living segment, offering customers a model for extended travel, said Billy Waldoch, vice president of sales. The van integrates a driver-side private bathroom with full shower and Thetford toilet alongside a passenger-side full galley with kitchen with stainless-steel sink, induction cooktop and refrigerator. The van seats 7 and sleeps two in fold-down seating.
Each Starlux includes an off-grid power system, a 19-gallon black tank and a 24-gallon freshwater tank. The vehicle is offered in four Ford Transit 350HD configurations, including front-wheel and all-wheel drive variants in cargo and passenger body styles. The Starlux starting MSRP is $156,800 for the two-wheel drive; $166,800 for the four-wheel drive.
Waldoch will be exhibiting across the street from the Chubby Trout restaurant, 3421 Plaza Court in Elkhart. The company will welcome dealers during normal business hours Monday through Thursday as well as Friday morning.
