Allison Stutzman, director of special events, reported the 2018 event “went better than they ever hoped.”
“It was a great event,” she told RVBUSINESS.com. “Our theme this year was ‘We Are Family’, which is personal to us at nüCamp. Making sure our customers are taken care of and have the best time they could have during their stay with us is something we hold in high priority.”
Stutzman added, “nüCamp serves a wide range of customers from all different walks of life. We even had seven folks from Canada. Ages range from 30 years old into their late seventies, all happily meshed together at the rally.”
The festivities began with an evening of wine and cheese while attendees provided BYO beer and wine to share with fellow rallygoers. Tuesday’s activities included a sponsored breakfast with the local Walnut Creek Cheese Co. which served up Amish cinnamon rolls to the campers, and nüCamp then hosted factory tours.
Wednesday began with another breakfast followed by a swap meet and garage sale that afternoon with local crafts, food and beverages. Thursday’s breakfast was followed by a well-attended question and answer session with nüCamp’s Marvin Raber and Creed Hosteller, warranty and repair specialist. The event also included hands-on repair demonstrations while the company sponsored a pizza party with live music, awards and door prizes to wrap up the rally.
“I cannot say enough about how wonderful the company is,” said owner Darlene Schmidt who attended the rally with her husband, Randy. “Everyone involved with nüCamp has been outstanding, helpful, considerate and they go above and beyond. The company stands by its products, in our case a [email protected] They are well built. We had such a great time meeting new people and getting new ideas.”
“We had close to 350 folks at the rally this year and we’re already getting excited for next year,” said Stutzman. “We are looking forward to returning to Winklepleck Grove, and attendees will be excited to know 2019’s rally will take place a little earlier: June 10-14. Registration will open near the end of January 2019.”
