More than 4,300 RVs and 10,000 RV owners will be headed to Hutchinson, Kan., for next week’s 2004 Great North American RV Rally, according to MotorHome magazine.
The fifth annual rally begins Monday (June 21) and continues through Thursday, (June 24).
In addition to live entertainment nightly, there also will be some of the best and most well-known speakers in the RV industry covering topics that RVers need to know. Also, thousands of dollars worth of prizes will be given away, including a 2004 Suzuki Grand Vitara valued at $20,000.
Rally officials have partnered with local radio station 1450 AM, KWBW, to provide attendees and the general public with traffic and rally-program information, said Ron Epstein, director of media for the rally. KWBW began broadcasting information on Monday (June 14) and will continue to do so until the end of the rally.
“It gives us a way to keep in touch with RVers as they drive in to Hutchinson,” Epstein said.
The public is invited to the rally. Public hours are noon to 5 p.m. on June 21 and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 22-24. A $5 per-person Day Pass grants admission to all the exhibits and daytime entertainment, or a $54 Rally Passport is good for the exhibits, seminars and evening entertainment all week.
