Peru, Ind.-based RV transport firm Aerostar Inc. may move to a new location in an industrial park in Peru, a community located about 80 miles south of RV industry manufacturing hub Elkhart, Ind., according to the Kokomo (Ind.) Tribune.
Aerostar, a seven-year-old firm, has out-grown its current location in Peru and now is offering $48,600 for 37 acres of land in an industrial park along U.S. 24, according to the Tribune.
Aerostar, owned by Ron Phillips, would use about eight acres and lease the remainder to other firms, according to the newspaper.
Phillips also plans to open an RV dealership on the eight acres in the industrial park.
Aerostar has other RV transport terminals in Longview, Tex., and Rialto, Calif.
The 37-acre industrial park property has been for sale for nearly 16 years, according to the Tribune.
