AimRite Holdings Corp., the company that is marketing the Computer Optimized Adaptive Suspension Technology (COAST), has received up to $1 million in working capital for use as needed, the company announced.
The source of the funding was not revealed.
The RV motorhome industry is one of the markets to which AimRite wants to introduce COAST, according to Mary Jane Coleman, acting president of the Solana Beach, Calif.-based firm.
COAST replaces conventional shocks and anti-sway bars with electronic hydraulic suspension control units. The units incorporate a patented software program that adjusts each wheel 400 times per second to control up to nine dynamic areas of suspension performance.
