Meyer Distributing has named Air Lift Co., Camco and Mickey Thompson as vendors of the year in their respective categories.
“Every year our purchasing, sales and marketing teams gather together to discuss our great partners and we have the opportunity to work with some of the best,” said Natalie Tempel, director of marketing, in a press release. “But there is always a few that really stand out and Air Lift, Camco and Mickey Thomson have all put forth exceptional effort within each department to grow their line.”
In the truck accessory division, Air Lift was recognized for its commitment to communicate and educate the dealers and consumers about load support. “The Air Lift Company is celebrating its 70th year in business in 2019 and this is a great way to cap it off by wining such a prestigious award,” stated Tony West, Eastern region sales manager, traditional markets, for Air Lift.
Jeremy Wagler, purchasing manager at Meyer Distributing, added, “Air Lift and its team has been able to provide Meyer Distributing with the products and the ability to grow and promote their line in a very competitive environment.”
Camco’s earned Vendor of the Year distinction through its products, service and partnerships in the RV and towing industry. “We are very fortunate to work with many outstanding vendor partners and Camco is one of those. It’s a tough decision every year on making the Vendor of the Year selection but Camco is very deserving of this award,” said Johnny Hayes, purchasing manager at Meyer.
“Camco views Meyer as a valuable partner and we appreciate the impact they’ve made since entering this industry,” noted Chad Smith, sales manager at Camco. “This award is a confirmation by Meyer that they view Camco similarly and we are duly honored.”
Mickey Thomson has proven to be a strong partner with its ability to work with the purchasing, sales and marketing teams, and their vast array of tires and wheels. “Our partnership with Mickey Thompson this year has allowed us to provide their amazing products to our Jeep, off-road, light truck and race enthusiasts which have helped us grow business in those arenas,” stated Jeremy Wagler. “All of these segments are exciting facets of our business and Mickey Thompson has the products these customers look to use on the track, in the mud or on the street. We are looking forward to an exciting and productive finish to this year and the next one as well.”
