A Spokane, Wash., businessman sees a growing market for RVs in the Northern Pacific Coast region, and has announced plans to open an Airstream dealership in February, according to the Spokane Journal of Business.
Nick Dietz, who formerly owned and operated a Honda engine dealership, said he is finalizing plans for Airstream of Spokane.
“I foresee big growth in the RV market,” said Dietz, who will own the business with his wife, Karyn. “The affluence, mobility, and disposable income of the Baby Boomers as they age and retire will have a huge impact on the RV industry.”
Airstream of Spokane will initially sell and service Airstream travel trailers, and Dietz says the dealership could add touring coaches and motorhomes in the future.
Airstream of Spokane will be operated by Saturday Harbor Inc., a Spokane Valley company owned by Dietz, and will employ three to five people.
