As reported by the Dayton Daily News, the organizations latest metrics show four companies are pulling the trigger on expansion projects in exchange for JobsOhio dollars. With the agreements executed, the companies now have the financing in place to support their expansion projects via the state’s private development arm.
Airstream received a $100,000 economic development grant that will go toward its planned $6 million expansion of the Shelby County plant.
The project will add approximately 94,000 square feet to Airstream’s existing 134,000-square-foot travel trailer plant and include production and office space.
It also will create 125 new jobs for the manufacturer, with the expansion expected to be complete in May.
