The Airstream Inc. subsidiary of Thor Industries Inc. reports its dealer order volume quadrupled during its recent national dealer meeting, when compared with a year-ago.
Airstream introduced its 2004 models during its dealer meeting in Columbus, Ohio, July 27-28. Its 2004 line-up includes the new 22-foot Interstate Class B motorhome using DaimlerChrysler Sprinter van chassis, a new 30-foot slideout-equipped Land Yacht Class A motorhome, three new International CCD trailers and a new 28-foot Safari travel trailer.
Airstream executives also described the company’s new lean manufacturing techniques and quality systems, its Internet-based parts and warranty program, the “Airstreamville” marketing and promotional materials and the personnel additions to better support dealers’ retail efforts.
“Airstream understands the retail success formula and is providing its dealers with an impressive array of services and support that will capitalize on our already solid relationships,” said Dicky Riegel, Airstream’s president. “2004 bodes exceptionally well for both Airstream and its dealers.”
