Wichita, Kan.-based Airxcel Inc. announced the appointment of industry veteran Kevin L. Phillips as executive vice president.
According to a press release, Phillips will be focused on seeking out world-class acquisition opportunities, scaling Airxcel globally and managing strategic projects.
“Kevin brings to this new assignment over 27 years of OEM and aftermarket experience in the auto and RV industries,” stated Airxcel President and CEO Jeff Rutherford. “Airxcel is excited to have Kevin join the Airxcel team in this senior management position.”
Phillips has been an active industry leader, holding board positions on the RV Industry Association (RVIA) since 2009, most recently on its executive committee.
Prior to joining Airxcel, Phillips was president of Thetford Corp. and held senior positions at Guardian Automotive, GKN Sinter Metals and Delphi Automotive. He holds a bachelor’s from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.
