Airxcel Inc., manufacturer of several appliances for RVs, reported a net sales increase of 23.5% to $50 million in the second quarter ending June 30, the company reported in a Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) document.
For the six months, the Wichita, Kan.-based supplier’s net sales increased 17.6% to $94.0 million compared to the same six months of 2003.
Gross profit increased 30.7% to $9.8 million in the quarter, and increased 22.7% to $18.9 million year-to-date.
The increase was principally due to the increased sales volume, according to the company.
