“Training will focus on technical aspects of all our air conditioners, and equip dealer technicians to handle all air conditioner troubleshooting and technical situations,” said Piar Adams, Airxcel vice president of marketing, aftermarket and international sales. The Airxcel training session will last four hours and apply toward Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA) technician certification.
Suburban Manufacturing, a division of Airxcel, will conduct technical training at All RV Needs in Medford, Ore., on June 22 and at Camping World in Wood Village, Ore., on June 24-25. The eight-hour training will cover all Suburban furnaces, water heaters – including the new on-demand water heater – and cooking appliances. Suburban’s training will also apply toward technician certification.
Airxcel is conducting the training sessions as part of RVIA’s Technician in Training (TnT) dealer training program. “We’re excited to participate with RVIA in this valuable training program, because it is a unique approach to technician training that will yield positive results for us, the dealer and most importantly the RV consumer,” said Adams.
The training is open to all participants in RVIA’s TnT program. For more information or to register for a training date, please contact:
