Author and business consultant Tony Alessandra will open the 2004 RV Dealers International Convention/Expo on Sept. 21 with a keynote presentation on customer loyalty.
“Customer Loyalty: How to Get and Keep Customers for Life.” will help start the business portion of this year’s Con/Expo, which is sponsored by the U.S. national Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association (RVDA) and the Canadian RVDA.
Con/Expo also will feature the RV Learning Center. The event is scheduled for Sept. 21-24 at the Rio All-Suite Casino Resort in Las Vegas.
Alessandra, an expert at helping businesses build customer relationships and bottom-line results, will focus on proven strategies to build customer loyalty. His books on the subject include Charisma and The Platinum Rule, both published by Warner Books.
“In today’s ultracompetitive marketplace, if you’re doing what everybody else is, you’ll never get to where you want to be,” Alessandra said. “It is incumbent for businesses to set themselves apart from the rest of the competition. It’s a paradigm shift – moving away from transactional customer satisfaction – and towards permanent customer loyalty.”
This year’s Con/Expo will include workshops for dealers and their managers, sales, F&I, aftermarket, service, and rental employees. Additionally, the RV industry’s top manufacturers, suppliers, finance firms, and other service providers will have exhibits.
The 9th Annual RVDA Education Foundation Classic Golf Tournament is scheduled for Sept. 20, and convention updates for dealers and exhibitors will be posted on the national RVDA’s website, www.rvda.org.
Dealers registering for the convention before July 31 will save $300 off the first registration and $350 off additional registrations. For registration or exhibitor information, visit www.rvda.org, send an e-mail to [email protected] or call (703) 591-7130.
