RVDA passport to excellence logoThe Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association (RVDA) announced that Ally Financial, a leading financial services company, is a Silver Partner of the 2015 RV Dealers International Convention/Expo, Nov. 2-6 at Bally’s in Las Vegas. The convention is sponsored by RVDA, RVDA of Canada, and the Mike Molino RV Learning Center.

“Dealers are very lucky to have industry partners like Ally Financial committed to the cause of dealership training and education,” said RVDA Convention/Expo Committee Chairman Ron Shepherd of Camperland of Oklahoma in a press release. “To maintain an educated and professional dealership workforce, we truly rely on the regular support of generous partners like Ally.”

The convention theme is Passport to Excellence: Education & Training. The 2015 RV Dealers International Convention/Expo offers outstanding training, education, networking, and leadership development for the entire dealership staff.  Low “Early Bird: registration rates are available online at the convention website. Dealer members who register by June 30 pay only $599 to attend and lock in the early bird rate of $549 for the rest of their staff — even those who register at later dates.

“Ally is committed to furthering dealer education, both through our own Performance Development Center platform and by supporting education programs like those put on by RVDA,” said Kevin Wrate, regional vice president at Ally. “We believe that ongoing training is an important tool in helping dealers navigate change and run successful businesses. We look forward to another insightful RVDA convention.”

The week starts with Vendor Training +Plus on Monday and Tuesday and includes a general session, educational and networking programs for Young Executives, and track workshops designed to address the leading issues facing every department in the dealership. In addition, the Society of Certified RV Professionals will head into its second year with an event featuring recognitions, an education component, and networking opportunities.

Track workshops, condensed into shorter timeframes, are being developed to respond to dealer demand for fast-paced, on-target, and engaging presentations. In its planning, the convention committee focuses on dynamic presentations of the most current topics and strives to bring new presenters to the convention.

Beyond educational and networking opportunities, the convention offers a sought-after location at the center of the Vegas strip at the iconic Bally’s hotel. Guest rooms at the convention rate are available at Bally’s and Paris.

The 2015 convention will also feature two exhibit halls filled with the RV industry’s top companies offering products and services to help dealers improve profitability.
