This month’s edition of American RVer, hosted by Jim and Peggy Grich, focuses on Tim Lemieux, an engineer residing in San Diego, Calif., who has converted his 1987 Winnebago into a “Green RV Machine.”

The Class C motorhome, equipped with custom modifications, allows Lemieux to live totally “off the grid.” Jim Grich speaks with Lemieux about how his coach can make power, water, heat in the winter and cool air in the summer.

The show will feature an in-depth look at the coach’s custom solar panels, innovative humidifier to condense moisture into potable water, and unique charging system for an electric car. “For those who are considering boondocking or trying to reduce their energy footprint, Tim’s inventions may inspire you,” said Peggy Grich.

Also, American RVer will showcase a time lapse video from David and Brenda Bott condensing the time it took to build their new Tiffin 45LP Allegro Bus from 11 days to just 13 minutes.
