Landscaping commenced this week for the Angel Fire Resort RV Park in Angel Fire, N.M., and so far, there are already seven groups waiting to drive up and plug in at the soft opening May 1, the Sangre de Cristo Chronicle reported.
Though the clubhouse will not be ready by May 1 the two front rows — at least 36 RV spots — will be ready for use. “Things are getting done,” said Jim Anderson, RV park manager, adding about 1,500 trees and shrubs will be delivered in the next two weeks.
According to Anderson the RV park has been well received by folks at RV conventions and shows.
The grand opening will be in July and the park will grow to accommodate 325 RVs in the 35-acre plot.
The RV park will offer a private clubhouse, paved roads, over-sized concrete spaces with easy pull-through access, 30/50-amp electrical pedestals, DirecTV access, bathrooms, showers, laundry facilities, Wi-Fi access, outdoor fire pits and hot tubs, putting green, pickleball courts, bocce ball, shuffleboard, a dog park and more.
RV spaces will be large enough to handle today’s biggest recreational vehicles and will be available for short or long term rentals.
The resort is well located to provide easy access to the area’s amenities including golf, horseback riding, cycling, hiking, dining, fishing, and more.
