The Arizona Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (Arizona ARVC) plans to hold its annual convention April 16-17 at Vee Quiva Hotel & Casino in Laveen.
The annual event starts with a Tuesday night crackerbarrel hosted by David Schenck, who shares the management of the association with Jo Ann Mickelson.
Convention day activities will include morning roundtable discussions with experts who can advise park operators on compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), things to know about buying and selling a park, and park Wi-Fi systems.
Gary Headrick of the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC) will provide the luncheon keynote address, which will be followed by the annual awards presentation.
Melissa Parham, an attorney with Scottsdale-based Williams, Zinman & Parham, will also provide important updates on current and proposed legislation affecting RV park and campground owners.
