The event, held Jan. 28-29 at the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Biloxi, Miss., saw a 20% increase in dealer attendance, according to Andrea Mullin, who manages the family-owned company along with her husband Andy Mullin and father Andy Nelsen.

“We had a great show. Attendance was up 20% and we had a large amount of show orders, so we’re real happy,” Andrea Mullin said. “Pretty much everyone who signed up for the show made it.”

Founded in 1980, Arrow Distributing offers a variety of products and services for RV dealerships including parts and accessories, print and digital marketing materials, state-of-the-art merchandising and technology services, and e-commerce solutions.

Andrea Mullin reported that attendees and vendors gave rave reviews about the venue and the overall atmosphere of the showcase.

“People said it was a class act. They thought the food was wonderful and they liked the entertainment. And everybody was really happy having it at the Beau Rivage,” she said.

She said that the show’s success is also a good sign for the rest of the year. “Usually when we have a show like this and we’re up in dealer attendance, it sets a good precedent for the year,” she said.

Andy Mullin echoed his wife’s comments, noting that dealers were upbeat about prospects for 2015.

“We experienced strong show orders and heard positive outlooks from customers. Both of these are good signs and what we hope for after a show. After talking with them, you do get a sense of optimism from them and we hope they have a great year,” he said.

He added, “We want to continue serving our dealers the best we possibly can. We want to improve on the services we offer, and continue to evolve and develop new services, to help them meet their financial goals.”

One service that sets Arrow apart from competitors is the customized marketing available to dealers, which includes print and digital products. “The feedback we get from dealers on that has been very positive,” Andy Mullin said.

Including its headquarters in Omaha, Arrow Distributing has nine warehouse locations in Kansas City; Des Moines, Iowa; Oklahoma City; Hammond, La.; Elkhart, Ind.; Little Rock, Ark.; El Cajon, Calif.; and Brighton, Mich.

The El Cajon location is the company’s newest, added when Arrow acquired Southern California Distributors in fourth quarter 2014.
