People in the outdoor hospitality have a diverse set of experiences, so it’s almost impossible to find a challenge another attendee at the National Association of RV Parks and Campground’s (ARVC) Outdoor Hospitality Conference and Expo (OHCE) hasn’t already seen and solved, according to ARVC officials.

Tapping into this knowledge base, the Cracker Barrels at OHCE are full of peer-to-peer guidance and advice, bringing like-minded community members together to share ideas and solutions to common challenges in the industry, officials explained.

Led by professionals in the industry, moderators lead the discussion and provide topic ideas, but it is the attendees and their unique experiences who are the star of the show.

Two new Cracker Barrel sessions highlight this year’s lineup — a joint “Owner-Operator/Park Manager” session and a “Legal, Human Resources and Finance” session. Three other Cracker Barrel categories, each lasting 1 1/2 hours, will provide learners an opportunity to find the area that best fits their needs.

Attendees to the new Owner-Operator and Park Manager sessions will spend the first part of the Cracker Barrel separate, before combining for the second portion. This will allow for more specialized discussion initially, before the two groups come together to offer differing perspectives on the challenges of running a park.
