The National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC) hosted its annual State Leadership Conference in early February.
This year’s conference, held in Denver, Colo., was attended by 17 state leaders representing 18 states, along with three ARVC board members and the entirety of the ARVC staff, David Basler, ARVC’s vice president of marketing and membership told Woodall’s Campground Management, sister publication to RVBusiness.
This year’s event focused on how ARVC can better serve its members at both the state and national level, according to Basler.
“As a collective, we worked on building a strong marketing plan, discussed our advocacy efforts, education and networking opportunities for members and new benefits and discounts that make membership in our organization so valuable to RV parks and campgrounds,” he noted. “We had great interactive sessions this week sharing best practices and learning about the benefits and discounts that make membership in the broader ARVC community so valuable to RV parks and campgrounds.”
Paul Bambei, president and CEO of ARVC, told WCM that the organization is stronger when everyone comes together at events like this.
“We are stronger as an organization when we come together to share ideas and best practices, which is what this event is all about,” explained Bambei. “ARVC and our partnering state associations have shared goals for growth and retention and the opportunity to reach those goals grows exponentially when we work together.”
