Elkhart Ind.-based ASA Electronics has added Courtland Jones as project engineer to its rapidly expanding engineering team.
The company reported in a press release that Jones will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of the product development process including project management, product design, sample evaluation, testing and reporting as well as maintaining thorough documentation of products throughout their lifecycle. He will also handle correspondences with ASA’s overseas office and international production resources.
“Courtland brings a lot of energy and a fresh perspective to our team,” said ASA Vice President of Engineering Jerry Maffetone. “We are expanding our product development department as the result of ASA’s continued growth and success and we are excited for Courtland to be a key part of that expansion.”
Jones is originally from Goshen, Ind., and recently graduated from the Indiana Institute of Technology where he received a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering. He also has substantial experience with 2D and 3D CAD.
