Allied Specialty Vehicles Inc. (ASV), a leading manufacturer of motor vehicles for commercial, fire & emergency and recreation markets, today announced that Marcus Berto has been appointed chief commercial officer for all product lines worldwide. ASV is parent to Allied Recreation Group (ARG), which builds the American Coach, Fleetwood RV, Holiday Rambler and Monaco motorhome brands.
According to a press release, Berto will be based in the company’s corporate headquarters in Orlando, Fla., and work directly with each business unit president and head of sales to solidify various pricing strategies in domestic and international markets.
“We are pleased to welcome Marcus to our executive team,” said Tim Sullivan, ASV president and CEO. “Marcus is a proven leader who will have a key role in the strategic planning and maximizing commercial capabilities as we grow ASV’s international business and drive the company into a global leadership position.”
Berto arrives from Prumo Global Logistics SA in Brazil where he served as CEO and member of the company’s executive board. Berto also previously served as a principal with LMB Consulting providing financial and M&A advice to companies in Brazil.
