Buyer attendance totaled 784 during the recently completed Truck Cap & Accessory Alliance (TCAA) Expo in Nashville, according to the alliance.
That means buyer attendance during the show Feb. 8-9 at the Nashville Convention Center was about 12% higher than a year before.
Additionally, there were 699 exhibitors and 240 non-buyers at this year’s show, according to the TCAA, a council of the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA).
TCAA also presented the following awards during the gathering in Nashville:
The Best New Product Under $500 Award went to Pace Edwards Co., Centralia, Wash.
The Best New Product Over $500 and Best of Show awards went to Snugtop of Long Beach, Calif.
The Ron Webster Award went to Ron Wise, president of Wise Industries Inc., Old Hickory, Tenn.
The Chairman’s Award went to Tom Brooks, owner of Truckin Thunder Inc. of Richmond, Va.
Next year’s SEMA/TCAA Expo is scheduled for Feb. 14-15 in Nashville.
