AutoCamp announced the expansion of its executive team with the hiring of Anjali Agarwal as chief operating officer and Todd Wynne-Parry as chief growth officer. The company, which provides camping and RV luxury sites at sought-after destinations, is also adding Robert Smit to their team as regional vice president of operations.

According to a press release, Agarwal will oversee the operations, brand, people and revenue functions for the company. She joins AutoCamp from Chartres Lodging, where she oversaw the company’s $2.2 billion portfolio of hotels and led several successful repositionings, operational turnarounds, and exits. Her operations experience spans several years, working for Hyatt, Marriott, Taj Group of Hotels.

Wynne-Parry will be responsible for business development of new joint venture and development partnerships. He has 30-plus years of hospitality industry experience and has held senior leadership positions at several major hotel brands, most recently at Commune Hotels & Resorts which eventually became Two Roads Hospitality.

“Both Anjali and Todd have outstanding experience at major hospitality brands that have scaled and expanded,” said AutoCamp CEO Neil Dipaola. “With their leadership, we’re excited to take AutoCamp to the next level in bringing an innovative outdoor hospitality experience to travelers across the nation.”

Smit will oversee hotel operations and new property openings. He has experience in multibrand and multiunit operations and has most recently worked with Marriott, Hilton and Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG). He has supervised a portfolio of hotels ranging from six to 18 properties including upscale full service, select service, five-star, branded and independent boutique assets.

The news comes following the announcement that AutoCamp’s third and largest location in Yosemite is officially opening its full facilities on June 10.
