Beaudry Motor Co., parent of multi-location RV dealership Beaudry RV, has appointed an attorney as its CEO.

Thomas P. Sylvester, who practiced law in Tucson, Ariz., for 29 years, agreed to become the CEO and chief legal officer of Tucson-based Beaudry Motor, which also includes three auto dealerships in the south Arizona city.

Sylvester closed his law practice in order to accept his new positions at Beaudry Motor.

Meanwhile, Beaudry RV, which has locations in Tucson, and Mesa, Ariz., and San Marcos, Calif., and an RV resort in Tucson, appointed Robert Burden to be its COO.

Burden has worked for Beaudry RV since 1975, when he began in sales.

Additionally, Dennis Bene, who began in sales at the company in 1973, was appointed COO of Beaudry’s automotive division.

Beaudry Motor Chairman and President Robert M. Beaudry said the three appointments bring to an end the period of leadership transition that began in 1998 with the death of company founder Lee J. Beaudry.
