Beaver Coach Sales & Service is currently (July 12-13) hosting the dealership’s third annual Open House, a retail sales promotion showcasing the Bend, Ore., dealership’s Entegra, Tiffin, Nexus and Thor Motor Coach brands.
Beaver, as industry veterans well know, has a storied history dating back to 1968 and its famous high-end Beaver Motorcoach Corp. brand last produced in 2009 when then-parent company Monaco Coach Corp. went out of business. In fact, the dealership’s current facility was built in 1986 for the sales and service of Beaver Class A’s, then assembled in a plant across the road.
Among the consumer seminars presented this weekend by the dealership, currently owned by Ty and Jodie Kelly, were sessions addressing Bend Tire Co., Zamp Solar, Universal RV Remote, Northwest Trailer Parts, Satellite Dishes, Saniflush, Coach Net and Willamette Valley Vineyards. The Open House event concludes Saturday night with a VIP dinner for 200 guests and a fund-raising event for the Boy and Girls Club of Central Oregon.
“Beaver Coach Sales and Service is known for its outstanding customer service, and diesel coach owners drive for miles to get their coaches worked on there, but also to look at new coaches because of the outstanding trained sales team that they have,” said Pat Carroll, director of motorized product development for Jayco Inc., Middlebury, Ind., a former Monaco Coach executive on hand for this week’s dealer event. “It’s really driven by the luxury diesel motorhome business. It’s its heritage, brands like Beaver, Monaco and Safari, and that’s why they carry luxury lines like Tiffin and Entegra.”
