Crowds stroll through the vehicle display area at Beijing show

Organizers for the 8th Beijing International RV & Camping Exhibition reported attendance of 50,000 and sales of nearly 1,000 units during the bi-annual event. According to a press release, the exhibition ran March 20-23 at the Beijing RV Expo Center.

This year’s edition featured several new activities, including test drives, seminars and special offers by manufacturers on RVs. In addition nearly 500 RVs were displayed along with various RV accessories, outdoor products, camping equipment, off-road vehicles and helicopters. Several high-profile RV brands participated, including Great Wall Motor, CenTech Specialty Vehicles, Henan Futureshow, Jayco, Knaus Tabbert, Hymer, Country Coach and Buerstner.

The show also provides a unique venue for international RV manufacturers and members of the campground community to share information and gain knowledge about the evolving Chinese RV industry. The RV & Camping Industry Development Forum included representatives from government, RV industry associations, OEMs, dealers and media discussing current market trends and exploring new areas of development.

The event was hosted by Beijing Tourism Development Commission, the People’s Government of Fangshan, Beijing and China RV & Camping Association.
