Bella Terra, a new luxury RV resort, has begun opening its doors in Gulf Shores, Ala., as the first of a series of upscale RV resorts featuring the Bella Terra brand name, said Tripp Keber, executive vice president of Denver, Colo.-based Sagebrush Realty Development LLC, which is developing the Bella Terra resort chain.
“This is the first of a family of resorts that will cater to high-end RVers,” Keber said of the Gulf Shores park, adding that his company plans to develop three to five additional resorts in the next 36 to 48 months.
The 40-acre Gulf Shores resort, located roughly 25 miles west of Pensacola, Fla., includes 176 deeded oversize lots with concrete pads and built-in patios, which range in price from $85,000 to $150,000. At the time of this writing, all but 15 of 88 RV sites in the resort’s first phase had been sold and Sagebrush Realty Development was preparing to begin building second phase of the resort.
All sites feature electric, water, sewer, cable television and Internet access as well as several amenity upgrade options, including customized outdoor kitchens and barbecues, a storage house with restroom and laundry options and built in outdoor entertainment centers.
The Gulf Shores resort will be managed by Bella Terra Gulf Shores Management LLC, which is also owned by Sagebrush Realty Development. More information is available at www.bellaterrarvresort.com.
