According to a press release, the gift will enable the ongoing work of the Learning Center to deliver high quality programs, products, and services that help dealers and their employees pursue their continuing education goals.
“The Thomas family of Bill Thomas Camper Sales, is a long time, regular supporter of high quality, affordable dealership education,” said RV Learning Center Chairman Jeff Pastore of Hartville RV Center in Hartville, Ohio. “Dealers count on the Learning Center to meet their education and training needs and the Learning Center counts on generous donors to make that possible. Contributors who make that donation every year allow the Learning Center to have a steady and reliable revenue stream to keep up with current needs and continue being an asset to the industry.”
“If dealers are not taking advantage the Learning Center’s programs today, what will they do for tomorrow?” said Glenn Thomas, general manager of Bill Thomas Camper Sales. “The training products keep improving and now when we invest in training, we see more improvement in our employees than we ever had seen in the past. It takes a bit of time and effort, but the payoff is huge.”
Gifts to the Learning Center support development of indispensable resources like the recently revised Service Management Guide and the most important dealer education event of the year, the 2015 RV Dealers International Convention/Expo that will be held Nov. 2-6 in Las Vegas.
In addition, donations to the RV Learning Center support the Society of Certified RV Professionals, webinars on current topics, training and certification for dealership staff, and essential publications and learning guides. Contributors can go to the Learning Center website to make online donations or print a form that accommodates customized pledges and scheduled donations as well as lump sum gifts.
