Blue Ox President and CEO Ellen Kietzmann announced the appointment of Jaima Geisert to the position of corporate officer and vice president of the Pender, Neb.-based company.
According to a news release, Geisert rejoins the Blue Ox team after having originally served Blue Ox from 1999 to 2008 supervising the accounts payable, accounts receivable and quality departments. She also served as corporate treasurer from 2004 to 2008.
In her new role, Geisert, who reports directly to Kietzmann, will be responsible for purchasing, inventory control and customer care as well the rally team.
Prior to rejoining Blue Ox, Geisert worked for Great West Casualty Co. in South Sioux City, Neb., as corporate marketing analyst where she worked with the executive management team by conducting research and developing insight, both qualitative and quantitative, on current strategic initiatives, as well as advising the executive team on business strategies and financial models to grow both new and existing business.
Geisert earned an MBA degree from the University of Denver, Daniels College of Business, and a bachelor’s from Nebraska Wesleyan University.
Kietzmann said, “Jaima is a highly accomplished, strategically-focused senior financial, accounting and marketing professional with more than 15 years of experience in finance and operations management. Add to that her previous experience at Blue Ox, I believe she is a valuable team member for our company as we plan for the future.”
