Along with sponsor NTP-STAG, Blue Ox  held the largest spring OXSMART Training session in the company’s history with 34 service technicians attending the hands-on seminar in late March in West Point, Neb.

“Even as we continue to expand our OXSMART Training and Education classes to venues nationwide and in Canada, we still really love the opportunity to host the event right here at home in Nebraska,” said Blue Ox President and CEO Ellen Kietzmann.

“In addition to installation and product training, the Nebraska events give the technicians the opportunity to tour our manufacturing facility and meet the dedicated men and women on our team that design and build our products,” Kietzmann added. “Another major objective of our training provides the opportunity for participants to provide insight and feedback on our product line and share ideas for new products.”

Hands-on technical training is the focus of the event with Blue Ox product experts guiding technicians through the installation of multiple products including: tow vehicle wiring, weight distributing hitches, goosenecks, braking systems, chassis performance products and Blue Ox’s new Super Ride Fifth-Wheel hitch.

OXSMART technical training graduates receive 13 hours of credit in the RVDA-RVIA Service Technical Certification program.

In the coming weeks, Blue Ox andNTP-STAG are offering OXSMART technical training April 25-26 at the Keystone Automotive Operations facility in Mississauga, Ontario, and June 13-14 at the RV Museum and Hall of Fame in Elkhart, Ind.
