A blue ribbon panel will discuss the RV industry’s future during the Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association (RVDA) Convention/Expo next month in Las Vegas.
The panel discussion will take place on Sept. 23, the first day of the gathering, which will continue through Sept. 25 at the Rio All-Suite Casino Resort.
The panel discussion will take place from 3:15 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 23.
Here is a list of the panelists:
Tom Faludy, president of supplier firm Carefree of Colorado and chairman of the Go RVing Coalition. He is a leading advocate for market expansion and better tapping the potential for aftermarket sales at RV dealerships.
Bruce Hertzke, chairman, president and CEO of Winnebago Industries Inc. He has led Winnebago to steadily increasing retail market share and strong profits. He also serves as second vice chairman of the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association’s (RVIA) Executive Committee.
Terry Mullan, president of the RV Division of Glendale International Corp., Canada’s largest RV builder. He also is active in the Canadian RV Manufacturers Association.
Jim Rogers, president and CEO of Kampgrounds of America (KOA). He also serves on the board of the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds. He was a senior vice president of casino/resort firm Harrah’s Entertainment before joining KOA in January 2000.
Thomas R. “Tim” McGuire, chairman and CEO of Coast Distribution System Inc. He now is in his fourth decade in the RV industry and is working to expand Coast’s presence in the leisure marine industry.
Kay Toolson, chairman and CEO of Monaco Coach Corp. He successfully led the assimilation of Holiday Rambler Corp. into Monaco, a manufacturer that now is challenging for the retail market share leadership position in the Class A motorhome segment.
