Early sales of exhibit space for the 2015 RV Dealers International Convention/Expo have outpaced even 2014’s rapid sales. The Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association (RVDA) reported in a release that with six months to go, fewer than 50 booths remain. The convention/expo, the largest education and networking event for North America’s RV dealers, will take place Nov. 2-6 at Bally’s in Las Vegas.
The venue at Bally’s is particularly advantageous for RV manufacturers looking to showcase their lines. The open floorplan for vehicles is centrally located within the meeting space and immediately adjacent to the WiFi-enabled dealer lounge. Space for vehicles is limited.
“There are still good spaces available on the floor,” said RVDA Marketing Manager Julie Newhouse, “but they are going fast. People are really excited about returning to Bally’s because last year’s show was so successful and well-attended.”
The expo opens with a reception from 4-7 p.m. on Nov. 3, and will span two halls filled with the leading manufacturers, suppliers and vendors in the RV industry. The expo will be open again on Nov. 4, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Nov. 5, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Lunch will be served in the expo both days.
Themed “Passport to Excellence: Education & Training,” the convention program continues to reflect the importance of training and education for all dealership staff. There are programs for young executives and a strong emphasis on digital marketing and social media. Vendor Training +Plus on Monday and Tuesday will offer more training opportunities, followed by track workshops for Dealer/GMs and managers in sales, service, parts, and rental operations. The Society of Certified RV Professionals will honor certified dealership personnel on Mondayafternoon at a reception that will include an education component and awards.
In addition, RVDA’s Partners in Progress committees will meet to work on important dealer-manufacturer issues. Registration rates have been kept affordable to encourage dealers to bring more staff. Dealers who register one person by June 30 qualify for a low rate of $599 for the first registrant and $549 for any staff who register after that date.
