Humboldt, Iowa-based Dodgen Industries and Born Free Motorcoach will be hosting a homecoming celebration on June 22-25, in conjunction with founder and owner John N. Dodgen’s 80th birthday.
According to a report in the Humboldt Iowa News, Dodgen started in the motorhome industry 38 years ago. The company’s line of high-end Class C motorhomes is built in Humboldt and sold throughout the U.S. by dealers and factory stores.
On hand for the celebration will be John and Wanda Dodgen’s four children and 12 of their 15 grandchildren. Also, several dignitaries from the motorhoming industry and publishing companies around the U.S. will be attending along with a contingent of Born Free coach owners.
The four-day celebration will begin with a parade of 85 motorhomes from the Webster County Fairgrounds in Fort Dodge to Dodgen Industries home office and manufacturing plant in Humboldt.
The motorhomes will be staying on the grounds of Dodgen Industries.
