Recreational park trailer manufacturer Breckenridge for 2007 has introduced a 40-foot triple-slide atrium floorplan with a 9 1/2-foot sloped ceiling. “It’s another way for us to go after a modern look that people want to see,” said Tim Howard, president of the Nappanee, Ind., Thor Industries Inc. subsidiary. “It’s a little more edgy design-wise, yet it is designed to compete in the RV park that insists on a conventional-looking product.” The 8 1/2-foot Breckenridge 102 Atrium, along with the new ultra-modern, modular Breckenridge Custom Glass Cottage – created by designer and architect Christopher C. Deam – were shown recently to about 45 dealers during Breckenridge’s week-long dealer open house. With wood-and-aluminum construction, the atrium features a sliding entryway door, sloped ceiling and residential-style kitchen for an MSRP of $28,059.
