Starcraft RV, a subsidiary of Jayco Inc., announced the appointment of Brion Brady as its new general manager, overseeing the company’s Starcraft and Highland Ridge operations. According to a press release, Brady is the former manager of Jayco affiliate Entegra Coach and brings 15-plus years of industry experience.

In addition, the company announced plans that it will initiate major upgrades in operations for the Starcraft brand. After over 50 years of manufacturing Starcraft RVs out of manufacturing facilities in Topeka, Ind., the company is moving production to newer facilities on its Middlebury and Shipshewana campuses. The move will include the addition of newer equipment, better efficiencies and a more intuitive workflow.

“We are extremely excited to move into the newer facilities. The larger, more modern space will allow us to continue delivering highly-innovative and quality products to our customers and provide an improved work environment to our employees,” said Brady.

“Making the move from Topeka to the newer facilities is a good strategic move for Starcraft,” noted Derald Bontrager, president and CEO. “Not only will it increase Starcraft’s manufacturing capacity, but it will also help the Starcraft brand grow in a very competitive market.”

Starcraft is in development of several new units and floorplans for model year 2020. The new line of campers are expected to come off the new production lines this summer.
