The Dow Jones Industrial Average and the Nasdaq composite fell to their lowest levels in two months, but most RV company stocks closed higher Tuesday.

More warnings about lower corporate earnings caused the Dow to plunge 177 points, or 1.6%, and the Nasdaq to fall 52 points, or 1.4%, Tuesday.

However, Tuesday was a good day for two small cap RV stocks, motorhome builder Rexhall and diesel chassis supplier Spartan. Rexhall gained 23/32, or 17%, to close at 5, and Spartan climbed 7/16, or 17%, to close at 3.

No news reports were issued by either company to explain the gain.

Meanwhile, Coast Distribution fell sharply, losing 3/16, or 14%, to close at 1 3/16 on Tuesday.

Coast also did not issue any news Tuesday.
