The site of the former Landry’s Work ‘n’ Play, a 33-year-old RV dealership in Fort Myers, Fla., that went bankrupt in May, has been acquired by an investor group that may sell the property to an RV dealer from outside the Fort Myers area, according to The News-Press.
The property at 3481 Palm Beach Blvd., was sold by Betty Landry to G&B Grimm Properties LLC for $480,000, the newspaper reported.
The property now carries a price tag of $659,000 and Gerald Marino, an agent for the RE/MAX Realty Group, said another RV dealership will most likely be the buyer, the Fort Myers newspaper reported. That’s because zoning laws make it less expensive to buy the former site of an RV dealership than to have another property rezoned.
