The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA), producer of the California RV Show held every October at the Fairplex in Pomona, has teamed with the California Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (CalARVC) to promote California camping to the expected 28,000-plus attendees.
According to a press release, Show Director Tom Gaither has redesigned the show layout from 2013. Attendees will enter and exit the show through the campground entrance featuring a park model, teepee and an array of unique RVs while the campground drops the attendees right into the RVIA “Camp Store” exhibitor tent. The Camp-California Camping Exhibit area will include 14 premium booths in the front of the “Camp Store.”
CalARVC reported it had negotiated a 25% booth discount for members that want to promote their park during the show. Additionally, RVIA has qualified volunteers available to run the booths mid-week.
The 10-day show will also feature more than 1200 RVs on display, a complete vintage trailer display, a “building an RV” display, RV factory showcase, test drive area, how-to seminars, and world-class entertainment spread over close to one million square feet.
