Throughout the month of January, Best RV Center in Turlock, Calif., will donate $100 for every vehicle sold to United Ways serving the Central Valley. United Ways from Sacramento to Fresno will benefit from this drive, according to the Oakdale Leader.
“The generosity of Best RV Center will help a lot of people in need this winter,” said Francine DiCiano, President and CEO of United Way, Stanislaus County. “We see a tremendous jump in 211 calls this time of year. So we know that a lot more people are in crisis during the winter months.”
The funds raised through the drive will support United Ways of Stanislaus County, Sacramento County (Capital Region), San Joaquin County, Merced County and Fresno County. Each United Way operates independently but all of them focus on building a stronger community through impacting education, financial stability and health of people served.
According to dealership Co-Owner, Nile Ammari, partnering with the United Ways on this drive is a simple strategy for helping the community.
“We have been very successful in the RV business for over 10 years and want to help others lead successful lives as well,” he said. “Shoppers visit our dealership from all over California and this is one way we can give them something back that will make a difference throughout the Central Valley.”
