Arizona will be the first destination for Rob Cox, a resident of Anaheim, Calif., who was the winner of a new 2015 Lance 1575 ultra-light travel trailer given away at the 62nd Annual California RV Show, held in Pomona last October.
According to a press release, Cox was selected from more than 10,000 entries to take home the travel trailer, which has an MSRP of $25,540.
Bob Rogers, director of marketing for Lancaster, Calif.-based Lance Campers, noted, “This is our 11th year giving away a Lance camper during the California RV Show and it’s awesome to see someone like Rob so excited to win our all new 2015 Lance 1575 ultra-light travel trailer.”
Cox said this is his first time to win a grand prize. Single and ready to go camping, he is looking forward to seeing the country, starting his tour in Arizona.
The 15-foot-5-inch trailer weighs 2,700 pounds (dry/unloaded) making it easy to tow with an everyday vehicle. The trailer sleeps four is constructed of aluminum and Azdel, making it more durable and lightweight than traditional aluminum-and-wood trailers.
Entrants had a few options to register, including filling out a form at the RV Show, registering online at the Best RV Show website, or registering at the sponsoring partner KTLA website.
Nancy Giltner, KTLA senior account executive commented, “All of us at KTLA enjoyed working with RVIA and Lance during the 62nd California RV Show. The promotion/giveaway added to the excitement, and enhanced the overall marketing campaign on KTLA. We look forward to the 63rd California RV Show, and our continued partnership with RVIA and Lance.”
