Hosting its grand opening last month, Ventura RV-Car Connection owner Martin Ramirez and his family were overjoyed to introduce the new dealership to the Southern California community.

The Ventura County Star reported that after nearly 20 years in the auto industry, Ramirez said his new RV dealership located in the Ventura Auto Center “feels right.” Relying on an accumulation of business insight over two decades, Ramirez has operated four other car dealerships between Bakersfield and Ventura County and knows that his newest venture is destined for success.

Ramirez also founded Martin’s Auto Transport in 1994, providing Tri-County dealerships with logistics to deliver new and used vehicles or haul vehicles to auction sites. His familiarity with local dealers and the public earned him a solid reputation as a hard-working and honest businessman, which he said is paramount in the industry.

“The opportunity to own a new RV dealership was presented to me and my family and I saw this as a great opportunity to expand our business model,” Ramirez said. “We have served the local Hispanic community for more almost 20 years and look forward to representing Forest River, Shockwave RV’s and used automobiles at the Ventura Auto Center.”

Ramirez, who currently owns the only Hispanic RV dealership in Ventura County, said it has been a pleasure to learn more about the RV industry with his wife, Teresa, and two daughters, Victoria and Karina who work beside him in the office.

“This truly is a family affair for all of us and we are here to provide great deals on whatever customers are looking for,” Ramirez said. “We have used cars, trucks, commercial vehicles, camping trailers, Class A and C motorhomes, motorcycles and off-road vehicles… everything under one roof, and we believe this makes ours a very unique dealership.”
