Due to the increasing guest demand for luxury cottage living on a rental basis, Golden Village Palms RV Resort in Hemet, Calif., introduced its new community of rental cottages Jan. 1.
According to an announcement from parent company Sunland RV Resorts, Golden Village Palms is now “offering its guests the luxurious amenities of resort living in the comforts of their own personal abode.”
“Cavco had recently released a cottage line that fits perfectly within the resort lifestyle,” said Michael Carle, general manager at Golden Village Palms.
In response, Golden Village Palms has instated a resort style community, housing 12 “state-of-the-art” cottages. The cottage-style park model RVs offer a master bedroom suite equipped with a queen-size bed, full kitchen and restroom, two flat-screen televisions, and an outside patio area for enjoyment.
“As more and more people decide they no longer want to travel but still want the RVing lifestyle that takes place in an RV resort, they elect to the renting of a park model,” Carle said. “By guests first renting a cottage, it provides them the opportunity to see if it is something they wish to purchase in the future as their new vacation home.”
For owners, the cottages are custom designed to fit each unique lifestyle and budget inclusive of several specialized upgrades. In addition, the rentals may accommodate family and friends of resort guests that would like the opportunity to visit, but are unable to supply an RV.
