Campers Inn made a $5,000 donation to the Mike Molino RV Learning Center last month, pushing the dealership group’s lifetime total to $66,000. According to a press release, annual gifts are necessary to maintain an adequate funding stream to provide affordable, high-quality education for RV dealers and staff.
“This is Camper’s Inn’s second donation of $5,000 in less than three months,” said RV Learning Center Chairman Jeff Pastore of Hartville RV Center in Hartville, Ohio. “Regular, reliable funding is the lifeblood of the Learning Center. Camper’s Inn CEO Jeff Hirsch and his management team know that there is no slow season when it comes to education. Our regular donors, by keeping us on their calendar, allow the Learning Center to operate efficiently and meet dealers’ changing education and training needs.”
Hirsch continues to serve the industry as the Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association (RVDA) immediate past chairman and also serves on the RV Learning Center board. Campers Inn was recently selected as one of the RVBusiness magazine’s Top 50 Dealers in North America and honored as the winner of the 2014 Innovation Award. The dealership group now consists of 10 locations throughout the Northeast and Southeast regions of the U.S.
Addressing the importance of constantly working together to promote education, Jeff Hirsch said, “If we’re not willing to help each other, then I have but one question: If not now, then when?”
Names of other recent contributors are listed on the RV Learning Center’s website.
Gifts to the Learning Center support development of indispensable resources like the recently revised Service Management Guide and the most important dealer education event of the year, the 2015 RV Dealers International Convention/Expo that will be held Nov. 2-6 in Las Vegas.
In addition, donations to the RV Learning Center support the Society of Certified RV Professionals, webinars on current topics, training and certification for dealership staff, and essential publications and learning guides. Contributors can make online donations or use a printable form that accommodates customized pledges and scheduled donations as well as lump sum gifts.
